APRIL WCAN MEETING!

Managing Your Career
When It Feels Like The Bottom Is Falling Out

Wednesday, April 22, 2009

Embarcadero YMCA, San Francisco
5:50pm - 8:00pm

These are tough times. Companies are eliminating and/or consolidating positions in record numbers. Unemployment is on the rise across all industries and there seem to be few safe havens anywhere.

As a woman of color, we often ask ourselves the following questions during critical times like these:
  • How do I keep my job (if I have one)?
  • How do I continue to demonstrate great value?
  • How do I find opportunities for growth amidst the chaos?
  • How do I keep my career on track when things are changing rapidly?
  • Should I risk pursuing new opportunities?
Please join WCAN and Dr. Sally Gelardin, a Career Transition Coach, as she provides us with proven tools and processes for managing our careers and transitions in these challenging times!

Sally GelardinSally Gelardin, Ed.D., is an author and certified Career Development Facilitator eLearning Instructor (CDFI) and Provider of the Global CDF curriculum; a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a certified Job and Career Transition Coach.
